Welcome to the South Carolina Biomedical Association (SCBA)

The South Carolina Biomedical Association is a professional society for the Biomedical and Imaging Technicians in South Carolina. Its purpose is to provide a forum for discussion and education for those who provide technology support to the healthcare community.

 

The SCBA Board of Directors would like to thank our corporate members, exhibiting vendors, and event attendees for a very successful first annual SCBA symposium. We would also like to thank Trumpf Medical Systems for giving us a tour of their facility and introducing us to all of their high quality surgical lights, tables, and equipment management systems.

We had a great turnout for our First Annual SCBA Symposium. Thanks to all of our corporate members, exhibiting vendors, and event attendees. This is only the beginning. We plan on having at least two more events this year including a tour of GE's MRI magnet manufacturing facility in Florence, SC.

We have already set the date for our Second Annual SCBA Symposium. It will be Friday May 18th, 2012 at Trident Technical College Conference Center. Because of the success of our first meeting, we are anticipating an even greater turnout for both attendees and vendors.
